Vintage 1930s-40s black velvet swing coat with vibrant plaid taffeta lining. It has a pointed collar, structured shoulders with built-in padding, two hip pockets, and an open fit with no closures. It can also be worn with the sleeves cuffed, as the velvet shell continues inside the lower part of the sleeves. There are a few condition notes, detailed below, but it is still very sturdy for its age and totally wearable.

Condition: Good, with a few brown discolorations and tiny holes scattered on the inside lining, a tiny hole and 1.5"" section of very faint light discoloration on the lower middle back (barely noticeable), and a few scattered 1"" or smaller repaired tears in the velvet shell - the most prominent are a t-shaped one on the front left of the collar, and one at the front right of the collar where it attaches to the lapel (see close up photos).
