Vintage 1940s open fit blazer jacket in crimson red, fully lined in silver satin. It has dolman sleeves, side pockets, small built-in shoulder pads, and pointed notched cuffs that roll up. We were told by the previous owner that this jacket was custom made in Japan for her mother in the 1940s.

Measurements and Condition:

Fits like: Medium
Fabric: Feels like a wool shell (super soft) with a silk satin lining
Brand: None, custom made
Condition: Good, with light general wear, a 1"" worn section on the lower front right below the pocket, minor wear at the edges of the cuffs and pockets, and a 1/2"" cluster of extremely faint pinpoint dark spots above the left pocket. On the inside lining, there are two 2"" reddish discolored spots and a 1.5"" seam gap in the lining of the left underarm (see photo), some other fainter discolorations and small spots, and a 5"" seam gap where the lining connects to the shell of the jacket (none of this is visible when worn). The jacket is still super wearable as is because the outside is in very good condition!
