Beautiful vintage 60s/70s black & white grid patterned wool overcoat by designer James Galanos, with a dramatic fur collar, and contrast coloring to the inside. It has a double breasted buttoned front, with decorative high pockets, and real pockets at the hips. Galanos began his career in the 1950s, and is known for dressing celebrities such as Marilyn Monroe, Elizabeth Taylor, and Jackie Kennedy.
